On my way to Eagle Scout, my father took me camping at least once a month, rain or shine (or even snow). At the age of 14, I spent one week backpacking across the San Juan mountains in southwest Colorado. I love camping!
When my wife and I had children, we realized that a popup camper would help us camp more often and more conveniently. Thus began our search for the perfect popup camper, which I’ve documented within this blog for the benefit of others, especially on the Buyer’s Guide and Mods & Upgrades section.
That first year we camped over 30 nights in our new popup, almost all of them Boondocking, or staying in dispersed locations rather than civilized campgrounds. The Repairs & Maintenance and Camping with Children sections describe some tricks we’ve picked up along the way. I hope all of this information helps you in your popup camping adventures!
